As at Jan 2010, EAIF has invested over USD 591 million into 28 projects.  Some of the companies in which EAIF has invested have been more successful than expected (particularly in the telecoms sector) and have been able to prepay early.  This leaves EAIF with a current committed amount of US$407 million.

 
Expected deals to date cover several sectors ranging from Telecoms to Power and Transport to greenfield Cement Production.
